Deutschlandstipendium
FUNDING STUDENTS

For the sixth time, the Jung Foundation is providing student scholarships as part of the “Deutschlandstipendien” program at the University of Hamburg. Three medical students will thus receive a monthly financial allowance to support them in their studies of human medicine.

This year's scholarships went to Kira Ayleen Offen (in picture on the right), who is thus supported by Jung Foundation for the third time, as well as Julia Maria Fuchs and Alex Waterhölter, who are receiving their “Deutschlandstipendium” scholarship from the Jung Foundation for the first time.

A MESSAGE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

In 1995 he received the Jung Prize for Medicine, now he is stepping down: world-renowned physician and scientist Anthony Fauci. Looking back at his work and life, he shares a key message to future generation of scientists – staying on course, no matter what surprises and challenges may cross your path.

He also emphasizes the value of successful communication. To ensure that health decisions are made based on the best available data, it is important to share research results with the public and explain them in understandable terms.
